Electricity price rescheduling announcement Wednesday

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) is going to formally announce the rescheduling of wholesale, circulation and retail prices of electricity at 3:00pm on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. 

BERC in a statement on Tuesday confirmed the matter 

The notification said that Bangladesh Power Development Board submitted proposals to BERC for changing the wholesale (bulk) and retail electricity rates, Power Grid Bangladesh PLC electricity transmission rates, and Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board, Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited, Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited, West Zone Power Distribution Company Limited and Northern Electricity Supply PLC electricity retail rates.
