HSC admit cards distribution begins June 15

Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board-Dhaka on Monday announced the distribution of admit cards for this year's Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations will begin on June 15. 

The information was confirmed in a notification signed by the board's Examination Controller, Professor Jasmine Taslima Banu. 

According to the notification, admit cards for examination centres in Tangail, Narsingdi, Faridpur, Rajbari, Shariatpur, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Kishoreganj and Manikganj districts will be available from 10am. 

Admit cards for examinees under Dhaka Metropolitan City, Dhaka district, Gazipur, Munshiganj and Narayanganj will be distributed at the same time on June 16. 

The board has instructed that the officer in-charge of the respective examination centre or a teacher authorised by him with attested signature must collect the admit cards of all educational institutions under the centre during office hours. The responsibilityfor collecting admit cards cannot be assigned to any person other than a teacher under any circumstances.

The notification further stated that if the officer in-charge of a centre is serving as acting principal of the institution concerned, the application for collecting admit cards must be countersigned by the president of the governing body, the deputy commissioner or the upazila executive officer.

After collection, centre authorities have been directed to distribute the admit cards to the educational institutions under their jurisdiction without delay.

The board has also fixed a schedule for correcting any errors in the admit cards. If any discrepancy, omission or incorrect information is identified after verification, corrections must be completed between 18 and 25 June.

For this purpose, applications must be submitted to the Controller of Sub Examinations (Higher Secondary) in accordance with the prescribed procedure and timeframe.

The board warned if necessary corrections are not completed within the stipulated period and any complications arise during the examination, the heads of the respective educational institutions will be held responsible.
