Standard Islami Bank stands besides patients of critical diseases

Standard Islami Bank PLC provided financial assistance to six patients for the treatment of critical diseases under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. 

Acting Managing Director of the bank Md Siddiqur Rahman handed over the donation cheques to the relatives or nominated representatives of the patients at the bank’s head office on Monday, says a press release. 

Financial assistance was provided to Md. Yasin of Barguna, Md. Abu TalebDhali of Jashore and Md. Azgar Ali of Tangail, who are suffering from cancer; Md. Abdullah Shoaib Nur of Gaibandha and ArifAftab of Habiganj, who are suffering from kidney disease and Md Zakaria Hossain of Kishoreganj for spinal cord surgery. Senior executives of the bank were also present in the event.
 
Since its establishment, Standard Islami Bank has been actively contributing to humanitarian causes as part of its social responsibility initiatives. The bank remains ever committed to stand beside vulnerable people during natural disasters or in any difficult circumstances.
