Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi 17T in Bangladesh, marking a significant step in the brand’s push into the premium smartphone segment. Unveiled at an event titled ‘The Moment Beyond Sight’ in Dhaka on Wednesday, the device brings professional-grade Leica imaging to local consumers.

The Xiaomi 17T (12GB+256GB) is available from June 11 at all authorised Xiaomi stores in Violet, Opal White and Black, priced at Tk 79,999.

The phone’s standout feature is its Leica-powered triple-camera system, headlined by a 50MP main sensor with a Leica Summilux lens and a 50MP telephoto camera supporting up to 120x AI Ultra Zoom. A 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 3,500 nits peak brightness rounds out the multimedia experience.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor alongside a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery rated for up to 1.57 days of use. The phone also supports Google Gemini, Xiaomi HyperAI and carries an IP68 rating for water resistance.

Ziauddin Chowdhury, Country General Manager of Xiaomi Bangladesh, said the launch reflects the company’s commitment to bringing premium innovation to local users.
