Student killed in Bagha road mishap

BAGHA, RAJSHAHI, June 14: A school student was killed after being hit by a microbus at Mirganj intersection in Monigram Union on the Bagha-Charghat highway on Thursday afternoon.
Deceased Minhajul Islam, 9, was a class four student of Mirganj Government Primary School and son of Minarul Islam of Mirganj Bhanukar Village.
It is known that on his way home from school on a bi-cycle, Minhajul Islam was hit by a white microbus coming from Bagha to Charghat, leaving him seriously injured. He was rushed to the Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor on duty declared him dead. Later, the microbus was seized at Charghat Cinema Hall intersection.
