Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon on Sunday said the government is sincerely working to distribute free school uniforms to at least 4,50,000 primary school students by the month of July.
“Within next July, free school dresses will be distributed among 450,000 students of primary schools. Besides, all primary school students will soon be provided with a mid-day meal,” he said.
He made the remarks while addressing as the chief guest at a validation workshop on “Bangladesh Education Sector Analysis (ESA) 2026”, organized by UNICEF at a hotel here today.
He said that the government is working to resolve all existing problems in the education sector with the aim of making education more enjoyable. “We want students to grow up as responsible citizens with moral values from the primary level. To achieve this goal, various important subjects, including sports, culture, morality and religious values, have been incorporated into the primary curriculum,” he said.
