Trader hacked to death at Louhajang

MUNSHIGANJ, June 19: Miscreants hacked to death a scrap object trader in Kalurgaon Village of Gaodia Union in Louhajang Upazila of the district early Thursday. 

The deceased Sohel Munshi, 39, was the son of late Ismail Munshi of the village.

Police and family sources said that after dinner, Sohel Munshi went to sleep alone in his home on Wednesday night. At 2 am on Thursday, his mother Shefali Begum and wife Nupur Begum woke up after hearing noises and after coming outside, saw that Sohel’s motorcycle was on fire in the courtyard and his blood-stained body with sharp weapon injury marks lying there.
