BCG seizes polythene at Lalmohan

LALMOHAN, BHOLA, June 21: Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) members have seized illegal polythene worth Tk 3.60 lakh from the godown of Hasan Store on Hafiz Uddin Avenue in Lalmohan Upazila town of the district on Saturday afternoon.

The operation was conducted under the leadership of Lalmohan BCG Outpost Contingent Commander Md Ikramul Kabir. Later, in the afternoon of the same day, Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate Mohammad Sifat Bin Sadek fined Hasan Store owner Md Sabbir Hossain Tk 5,000 through a mobile court.
