Eminent cultural artist Mustafa Monwar passes away

Eminent cultural personality and artist Mustafa Monwar passed away on Monday morning at Square Hospital in the capital. He was 90.

He breathed his last at the hospital while undergoing treatment there. Mustafa Monwar's assistant Rubel Miah said a hospital source called them around 8:30AM and confirmed his death.

He had been suffering from pneumonia related complications.

His body will be taken to his house in Dhanmondi, family members said.
