Al-Arafah Islami Bank gets new BCMD head

Md Mizanur Rahman (Masum Mizan) has been appointed as the Head of the Brand Communication and Marketing Division (BCMD) of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, one of the country's leading Shari’ah-based commercial banks.

Masum Mizan joined Al-Arafah Islami Bank in 2013 as a Public Relations Officer. Prior to joining the banking sector, he built and distinguished journalism career spanning around 14 years, working with several leading national newspapers, including Naya Diganta, Amar Desh, Samakal, Manabkantha, Dakkhinanchal and Ajker Barta, says a press release. 

Alongside his journalism career, Masum Mizan has held several leadership positions in professional organizations. He served two consecutive terms as Vice President of the Crime Reporters Association of Bangladesh (CRAB) and is the Founding President of the Barishal BM College Journalists’ Association. 

He completed his Bachelor and Master's degrees in Management from Barishal BM College.
