The search committee constituted to recommend appointments to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) invited Curriculum Vitae (CVs) from eligible candidates seeking appointment as chairman or commissioner of the anti-graft watchdog.

The Cabinet Division issued a notification to this effect on Thursday, asking interested candidates to submit their CVs and supporting documents by 4:00 pm on July 13.

According to the notification, the committee, formed under Section 7 of the Anti-Corruption Commission Act, 2004, will prepare recommendations for the President regarding the appointment of the ACC chairman and commissioners.

It said applicants must possess the qualifications and experience stipulated under Section 8(1) of the Act, while any person disqualified under Section 8(2) will not be eligible for consideration.

The Cabinet Division said applicants who have already submitted their CVs along with the required information and documents will not need to apply again.

The notification instructed candidates to include their name, parents' names, present and permanent addresses, date of birth, nationality, educational qualifications, occupation, employment history and experience, including tenure, as well as their mobile phone number and e-mail address. The CV must bear the applicant's signature.

Applicants have also been asked to attach two recent passport-sized colour photographs, a copy of their national identity card and copies of all academic and professional certificates supporting their qualifications and experience.

The application envelope should be clearly marked ChairmanCommissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission.

Applications may be submitted to the Secretariat Central Letter Receiving Centre at Bangladesh Secretariat Gate No. 5 or to the District Magistrate Policy Branch, Room No. 935, Cabinet Division, Building No. 1 (New), Bangladesh Secretariat, Dhaka.
