Trader found dead in N'ganj

NARAYANGANJ, July 3: Police have recovered the body of a businessman wrapped in a blanket beside the Dhaka-Narayanganj old road in Jamtala area under Fatullah Police Station (PS) in the district on Thursday morning. 

The deceased Motaleb Hossain was the son of late Soleman Mia of Shibpur Village in Ramganj Upazila of Laxmipur District. He lived in his in-laws' house in Sajeda Manzil in Masdair area and owned a shop in Masdair Bazar.

The deceased's brother-in-law (Retd) Surgeon Md Kamal said that Motaleb went missing from his house on July 1 at 8 am. After much searching, he filed a GD with Fatullah Model Police Station at night. The body was found on Thursday morning.

Fatullah Model PS Sub-Inspector Md Wasim Khan said that the body was recovered and sent to the Narayanganj General Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
