3 killed in Khagrachhari firing

Three people were killed in an alleged gunfight between the United People's Democratic Front (UPDF-Main) and the Parbatya Chattagram Jana Samhati Samiti (JSS-Main) in Khagrachhari's Panchhari on Monday afternoon.

Panchhari Police Station OC Md Jashim Uddin said that the two rival groups exchanged gunfire over dominance, leaving three people dead.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed, he added.
