Dakhil examinee found dead at Taltali

TALTALI, BARGUNA, July 10: A Dakhil examinee who went missing while bathing at Shubhasandhya beach in Taltali Upazila of the district on Tuesday noon was found dead on Friday morning.

The deceased Md Asadul, 17, was the son of Musa Hawlader, a Saudi expatriate from Manikjhuri Village in Amtali Upazila of the district.

Locals Abdul Aziz and Latif Hawlader saw a body floating in the water adjacent to the beach. On information, police recovered the body. Later, his maternal grandfather Abdus Sobhan identified the body as Asadul.

Earlier, when Asadul went missing, the upazila administration, police, river police, fire service and coast guard jointly conducted a rescue operation. 

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Taltali Police Station Md Saidul Islam and Patharghata River Police OC Sagar Bhadra confirmed the incident.
