2 HSC examinees lose valuables to doping gang

Fail to attend exam

NOAKHALI, July 11: On the way to appear at the HSC exam, two examinees lost their gold ornaments and necessary documents including exam admit cards to the doping gang in front of Mehran Dine restaurant and failed to attend the exam at the Sonapur College centre on Saturday.

The victims are Jannatul Naima, 19, and Prahima Akhter Shashi, 19, HSC examinees of science group from Noakhali Government College. 

Family members said Naima and Prahima boarded a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw to go to the exam centre. When they reached Mehran Dine restaurant, doping gang members tricked them unconscious and fled with the gold ornaments and the necessary documents. 

Later, the CNG driver left the two unconscious. They are currently being treated at a local hospital. 
Officer-in-Charge of Sudharam Model Police Station Nazrul Islam confirmed the incident.
