Heavy rain forces school in capital closures, exam postponed

Several educational institutions in the capital have suspended classes and postponed examinations on Sunday (July 12) due to heavy rainfall and severe weather conditions.

In a notice, the Baridhara campus of South Point School and College authorities said that all scheduled examinations and classes for Sunday (July 12) had been suspended due to adverse weather conditions and persistent heavy rainfall, with the decision taken to ensure the safety of students.

The institution added that revised examination schedules and further instructions would be announced in due course.

Meanwhile, authorities of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College have postponed its scheduled examinations for Sunday (July 12).

The announcement was made in a notice issued at around 8:15AM.
