Officers association friendly football match held at CVASU

CHATTOGRAM, JULY 23: Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) Officers Association Friendly Football Match held in a festive atmosphere.

CVASU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Lutfur Rahman inaugurated the football match at the university's central playground on Thursday afternoon.

In the friendly football match, two teams of officers - Falcon XI and Eagle XI - faced each other.

Eagle XI defeated Falcon XI 6-5 after showing great skill in the game and became the champion.

The team manager of Eagle XI was the President of the Officers Association Khalilur Rahman and the team manager of Falcon XI was the former President of the Officers Association Md. Yasin Chowdhury.

At the end of the game, trophies were awarded to both the champion and runner-up teams.
Among others, university's Registrar Mirza Faruk Imam, Director (Finance and Accounts) Md. Abul Kalam, Chief Engineer Achinta Kumar Chakraborty, CVASU Officers' Association President Khalilur Rahman and former president Md. Yasin Chowdhury, Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kazi Rokhsana Sultana, Officers' Association General Secretary Md. Jamal Hossain and other members of the association were present on the occasion.
