Admin active in controlling drugs: Dhanbari UNO

MADHUPUR, TANGAIL, July 24: “Drug addiction is a serious disease of the current society, which is destroying the young generation and pushing families and society towards extreme disaster. To prevent it, family awareness, religious discipline, strict law enforcement and proper rehabilitation of drug addicts are very important. 

Therefore, the administration is active in controlling drugs across the country,” said Dhanbari Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Nurjahan Akhter Sathi at the law and order committee meeting organised by the upazila administration on Thursday.

UNO Nurjahan Akhter Sathi chaired the meeting. Among others, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Dil Afroz, Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Masudur Rahman, Social Service Officer Ismail Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Dhanbari Police Station Md Nurus Salam Siddique, Municipal BNP President SMA Sobhan, Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Professor Mizanur Rahman and and others spoke at the meeting.
