Youth found dead in Netrakona

NETRAKONA, July 26: Police have recovered the throat-slit  body of a youth from his house in Duani Dudhkura Village of Kaliara Gabragati Union in Netrakona Sadar Upazila on Sunday morning.

The deceased Mahful Mia, 35, was the son of late Yakub Ali of the village. 

It is known that Mahful Mia fell asleep in his house after eating dinner on Saturday night. His mother entered his house on Sunday morning and saw his blood-stained body. On information, the police recovered the body and sent it to the Netrakona District Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy. 

Officer-in-Charge of Netrakona Model Police Station Abul Khair said, “Initially, it is believed that Mahful had a land dispute with some people in the village. This may have led to the murder. If a complaint is received, the matter will be investigated and action will be taken.”
