One more dengue death in 24hrs

One more person died of dengue fever in the past 24 hours, taking the total fatality toll to 54.

Also, 153 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals during the period. With this, the total number of patients undergoing hospital treatment stands at 1,167.

The information was reported in a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Friday.

According to the release, a total of 15,310 people have been admitted to hospitals with dengue so far this year. Of them, 14,089 have been discharged.
