The US Embassy in Dhaka has issued a fresh advisory for Bangladeshis planning to travel to the United States, urging them to ensure they have sufficient financial resources to cover their expenses, including medical emergencies.
In a notice published on its website on Monday, the embassy advised travellers to be financially prepared in case their trip is disrupted or they require emergency medical treatment while in the United States.
The embassy also warned that misuse of benefits funded by US taxpayers could have permanent consequences, including affecting eligibility for future travel, study or employment in the United States.
