NGO worker killed as truck smashes motorcycle in Jhenidah

A 25-year-old NGO worker was killed after a speeding truck smashed his motorcycle on the Jhenidah-Magura highway on Monday night.

Deceased Sajim Hossain, son of Ruhul Amin of Sadar upazila, met the accident when he was returning home from office at around 10 PM. The truck hit his bike near Shariful Filling Station in Porahati area, leaving him dead, according to the eyewitnesses.

The truck driver, later, fled the scene. 

Jhenidah Sadar Police Station's Officer-in-Charge (OC)  Asaduzzaman Asad confirmed the death news.
