Septuagenarian woman killed in Gopalganj road accident

An unidentified elderly woman, aged about 70, was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle the Dhaka-Khulna highway in the Gopinathpur area of Gopalganj Sadar on Tuesday.
The accident occurred while the woman was crossing the highway. She died on the spot.
Locals informed the highway police. They later recovered the body and sent it to the Gopalganj Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
The deceased could not be identified yet. The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) is working to identify her.
