AI CCTV leads to gold robbery arrest in Naogaon

A member of a robber gang, who had robbed around 14 bhori of gold from a trader in Naogaon, has been arrested with the help of CCTV footage and technologies provided by artificial intelligence (AI).

The robbery happened in Tajer Mor of Naogaon town at around 11PM on July 30. The robbers waylaid gold trader Subhash Pal and snatched away a bag full of gold.

Upon the analysis of the CCTV footage equipped with AI technology as well as data collected from highways and toll booths, the DB police found out the getaway vehicle and on August 3 they arrested one of the members of the gang and the microbus driver named Md. Jamal Hossain Fulon from Jashore.
