British High Commissioner meets Nahid Islam, Asif Mahmud

British High Commissioner to Dhaka Sarah Cook met National Citizens Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam and party spokesperson Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan on Thursday (August 6).

NCP International Relations Officer Alauddin Mohammad and head of its UK and European Union desk Naveed Nowroz Shah were also present at the meeting, according to the party’s verified Facebook page.

The meeting discussed parliamentary engagement, democratic governance and ways to further strengthen Bangladesh-UK relations through continued dialogue and cooperation.
