Truck-bus collision leaves 2 dead in Sirajganj

A truck crashed into a passenger bus killing two people, including the driver of the bus, and injuring at least 12 others at Raiganj upazila of Sirajganj early Saturday.
The accident occurred at about 1:30AM at Nalka Overbridge point on Jamuna Bridge West Link Road.
While the bus was on its way to Chattogram from Dinajpur, the truck, loaded with cargo coming from Sirajganj city town, hit the bus, leaving the bus driver and one person died on the sport.
The bodies of the deceased have been recovered and taken to the Sirajganj Medical College Hospital by police and firefighters, while the injured were taken to different hospitals.
Amirul Islam, Officer-in-Charge(OC) of Jamuna Bridge West Police Station, confirmed the accident news.
