SSC examinee electrocuted

CHAR FASSON, BHOLA, Aug 8: An SSC examinee died after being electrocuted in Ward No. 2 of Nurabad Union under Dularhat Police Station (PS) in Char Fasson on Thursday. 

The deceased Md Russell, 17, was the son of Md Abul Kalam of that area and an SSC examinee of Dularhat Secondary School this year.

According to the family, Russell was electrocuted due to carelessness while connecting the electric switch board to a motor in the afternoon. Family members quickly took him to the Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Dr Muntasir Billah, a doctor on duty at the hospital's emergency department, said that he died before being brought to the hospital. Officer-in-Charge of Dularhat PS Yasin Alam Chowdhury confirmed the incident.
