Tree fair on at Lalmohan

LALMOHAN, BHOLA, Aug 10: Organised by the Lalmohan Upazila Administration and Lalmohan Range, Coastal Forest Division, Bhola, the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mohammad Sifat Bin Sadek inaugurated a three-day Tree Fair-2026 under the slogan 'Beautify the country with tree plantation, Bangladesh first' by cutting the ribbon on the Lalmohan Government Model Secondary School grounds on Sunday morning. 

Arrangements were made to display and sell seedlings of various species of fruits, forest and medicinal plants at the fair. At that time, the guests visited the stalls of various nurseries and trees participating in the fair. Later, a colourful rally was brought out that paraded the main roads of the municipality. 

After the rally, a discussion meeting was held in the Upazila Parishad Hall Room. Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md Rezwanul Haque, District Assistant Conservator of Forests Md Moniruzzaman, Upazila BNP President Md Zafar Iqbal, General Secretary Shafiqul Islam Babul, Upazila Agriculture Officer Shah Ariful Islam, Range Officer, Lalmohon Range Abdullah Al Mamun, Lalmohan Press Club President Sohel Aziz Shahin, officials from various government departments and local dignitaries were present at the meeting.
