Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed took a break from cricketing duties to enjoy a fishing trip with Australian cricketers Alex Carey and Jake Weatherald in Darwin.
The trio went out on a boat in Darwin’s waters as part of a special media activity ahead of the Bangladesh-Australia Test series. The event was organised at Darwin Waterfront to highlight the similarities between Bangladesh’s and Darwin’s water-based cultures.
Following a media session and photoshoot, Taskin, Carey and Weatherald boarded a fishing boat and spent some time fishing together.
Bangladesh are currently in Darwin for a two-Test series against Australia. The first Test will begin on August 13 in Darwin, while the second Test is scheduled to start on August 22 in Mackay.
