1000 saplings distributed in Laxmipur

A total of 1,000 saplings of fruit trees, forest trees and medicinal trees were distributed among students in Laxmipur.

The programme was arranged by Laxmipur branch of Shahjalal Islami Bank which was held at Poura Shahid Smriti Academy on Tuesday (August 11) morning.

Mr. Mohammad Humayun Kabir presided over the programme as the Branch Manager of the Bank and Mr. Abu Sayeed joined the programme as the Chief Guest.

Apart from them, Awlad Hossain Chowdhury - Head Teacher of Poura Shahid Smriti Academy, Sheikh Monir Uddin Ahmed - Branch Manager of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ramganj Branch, businessmen Ahsan Ullah, Zahir Uddin, Md Jahangir, Shahadat Zubayer - youth representative, Yasin Bablu and Arman Hossain Kiran - Student Representative were also present in the programme.

Mr. Mohammad Humayun Kabir informed that the Bank distributed tree saplings every year. As a part of the distribution process, 1,000 fruit tree saplings, forest tree saplings and medicinal tree saplings were distributed among the students.
