Stamford University to offer free Russian Language Course

Stamford University Bangladesh is set to offer a free two-month Russian language course for the second time in collaboration with the Center for Open Education of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and St. Petersburg State University.

The course is open to Stamford University students, students from other universities and members of the public interested in learning the Russian language and culture. Participants will not be required to pay any fees.

According to the organizers, the course will provide structured introductory instruction in Russian, along with basic knowledge of Russian culture and communication. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive certificates.

The initiative is aimed at supporting Bangladeshi students interested in higher education, research, academic exchanges and professional opportunities in Russia. Basic knowledge of Russian may also help students adjust to the academic and social environment of Russian universities.

Stamford University Bangladesh is serving as the partner institution in Bangladesh for the initiative. The university said the program reflects its commitment to foreign-language education, international academic collaboration and greater global engagement.

The organizers expect the second edition of the course to attract participants from diverse academic and professional backgrounds and contribute to stronger educational and cultural ties between Bangladesh and Russia.
