Food distributed to orphans in Hili on Khaleda's birth anniv

Special prayer session and food distribution program were held for madrasa orphans in Hili of Dinajpur on Saturday (August 15).

August 15 marks the 82nd birth anniversary of late former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. Therefore, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has arranged prayer sessions throughout the country.

As per instructions from Social Welfare Minister AZM Zahid Hossain, Hakimpur Pouroshava BNP organized the program at Kasamia Imdadul Ulum Qawmi Madrasa at 2:00PM on Saturday.

During the program, a prayer meeting was held, seeking eternal peace (magfirah) for the departed souls of Begum Khaleda Zia and her deceased family members. Senior teacher of the madrasa Shafiqul Islam conducted the prayer.

Following the prayer, cooked food was distributed among the orphan students of the madrasa.

Hakimpur Upazila BNP President Ferdous Rahman, Hakimpur Pourashava BNP Vice-President Farid Khan, General Secretary Najmul Huq, Organizational Secretary Kamal Hossain, and Upazila Swechchhasebak Dal Member Secretary were present, among others.
