Model-actress Ridhika found dead, in apparent suicide

Actress Ridhika Ridhi’s was found dead in the capital, her body hanging from the ceiling on Saturday.

Actress Ridhika Ridhi's body has been recovered from the Bashundhara residential area in the capital. Her body was then taken to Kurmitola General Hospital where she was declared dead.

Mazharul Islam confirmed the news to Prothom Alo. Police initially believe it could be a suicide.

Mazharul Isla, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhatara Police Station, said that, according to Ridhi’s mother and family members, she was in a secret relationship with someone.

After an argument with this someone in the morning on video call, which was when she reportedly took her life. The department is taking the case based on the family's complaint.

Aside from modeling, Ridhi has also acted in several dramas, notably 'Ekhane Manush Bikri Hai', 'Bahurupi', 'Double Honeymoon', and 'Sundari'.
