A seminar on juvenile crime, drug abuse and smartphone addiction, as well as a ceremony on developing good character traits, was conducted on Monday (August 17) at Nripendra Narayan Government High School, Debiganj, Panchagarh.
The program was organized by Lal Shobuj Unnayan Sangha, and the special guests at the event included UNO Debiganj, Indrajit Saha, while G M Ruhul Amin was the chairperson of the event.
Police Inspector (Investigation), Prabir Sarkar, as well as founder and President of the organization, Kawsar Alam Sohel, also attended the ceremony.
The students made a pledge to develop good character traits and abstain from drugs, juvenile crime and smartphone addiction.
Sohel added that the organization, which works with the help of tiffin savings of the students, has been running in all 64 districts for 15 years to develop social awareness.
About 4.5 million students have been educated through their awareness programs.
