Schoolgirl killed being hit by bus on way to school

A nine-year-old girl was killed after being hit by a bus on the Dinajpur-Gobindaganj highway near Phulbari Upazila Health Complex on Tuesday (18 August) morning.
The locals took her to the Phulbari Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctors declared her dead. The residential people became angry and blocked the road in protest of the accident.
Shefa Moni, who is a third-grade student at North Point Ideal School, met the tragic end of her life while she was crossing a road alongwith her mother on the way to school at around 8AM. A running bus hit her on that road.
The locals took her to the Phulbari Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctors declared her dead. The residential people became angry and blocked the road in protest of the accident.
Phulbari Police OC Md Shahidul Islam informed that police is trying to trace out the bus.
