‎Mirza Fakhrul to Take Oath as Bangladesh President; Ministers, State Ministers to Follow

‎Former BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is set to take oath as the 23rd President of Bangladesh.
‎

‎The oath-taking ceremony is being held at the Darbar Hall of Bangabhaban at 7:37pm on Friday (August 21).
‎
‎Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Gani is conducting the ceremony on behalf of the President. He said the President’s oath would be administered first, followed by the oath-taking of ministers and state ministers.

‎Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is present on the stage at the ceremony. Among those present at the Darbar Hall to take oath as ministers are BNP Standing Committee member Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Andalib Rahman Partha, Bandarban MP Saching Prue Jerry, Gaibandha-4 MP Mohammad Shamim Kaiser Lincoln, and the Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir.

‎After taking the oath, Mirza Fakhrul signed the oath book, which was then authenticated by the Speaker.
