Jashne Julus rally held in Rangamati marking Eid-e-Miladunnabi

RANGAMATI, Aug 21: On the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH), Gausia Committee Bangladesh, Rangamati District Unit, organised a Jashne Julus in Rangamati like every year.

After the Jumma prayers on Friday, the Jashne Julus was taken out from Reserve Bazar that paraded the main roads of the town and ended at Banarupa of the town. 

Principal of Chattogram Jamia Ahmadiyya Sunnia Alia Madrasa Alhaj Mawlana Hafez Abdul Alim Rezvi led the procession while Rangamati District Gausia Committee Convener Haji Ali Akbar Sawdagar chaired the procession and Member Secretary Shamim Jahangir conducted the event. 

It was addressed by Banarupa Jame Mosque’s Khatib Mawlana Iqbal Hossain Al Qaderi and Reserve Bazar Jame Mosque’s Khatib Mawlana Abu Nowshad Nayemi. 

At the end of the rally, in a discussion meeting held at Banarupa Jame Mosque, speakers expressed gratitude to the government for deciding to celebrate the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH) on a national scale. At the same time, the government was called upon to observe the procession on a national scale.

The speakers at the meeting also said, “Our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) appeared on the earth on 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal as a mercy of Allah. He emerged as a teacher of the best ideals for the entire world and established peace, harmony, equality and humanity on the earth through his most beautiful ideals.”

At the end of the discussion meeting, special prayers were offered for the welfare of the country and the nation. Imams of various mosques were also present.
