Joy in Bhola as Partha takes oath as minister

People in Bhola held a joyous procession and distributed sweets after Bhola-1 MP and Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) Chairman Barrister Andalib Rahman Partha took oath as a minister on Friday (August 21) evening.

Partha took oath at Bangabhaban along with four ministers and two state ministers.

The procession started from the BJP district office in Sadar Bazar and passed through major roads before returning to the same spot, where sweets were distributed among party leaders and activists.

Party leaders and activists thanked Prime Minister Tarique Rahman for appointing Partha as a minister.

Partha was first elected MP from Bhola-1 in 2008 and won the seat again in the 2026 parliamentary.
