BOU VC congratulates Mirza Fakhrul

Bangladesh Open University (BOU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan has congratulated Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on his election as the 23rd President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

In a congratulatory message, the Vice-Chancellor described him as a wise, gracious and visionary statesman who has earned the trust and respect of the people through his long political career, sacrifice, integrity and patriotism.

He expressed hope that President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, with his wisdom and experience, will play a significant role in advancing Bangladesh as a developed and dignified nation. He also hoped that higher education, research and innovation in the country’s universities would gain new momentum under his leadership.

BOU Vice-Chancellor wished the newly elected President good health, long life and a successful tenure.
