US congratulates President Mirza Fakhrul Islam

The United States has congratulated Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on becoming Bangladesh’s 23rd president.

The US Embassy in Dhaka conveyed the congratulatory message in a Facebook post on Saturday.

In the message, the United States said it looked forward to working with President Alamgir and the Bangladesh government to further strengthen bilateral partnership.
