Man stabbed to death by cousin in Jhenaidah

A man was allegedly stabbed to death by his paternal cousin in Kotchandpur upazila of Jhenaidah on Sunday morning.
The incident took place around 7:30 AM in a field in Mallikpur village of Dora Union in Kotchandpur upazila.
The deceased was identified as Tobibar Hossain, son of Nabichchuddin Mondal of Mallikpur village in Dora Union.
According to locals, Tobibar had an argument with his cousin over land and family-related matters. At one point, the cousin allegedly became enraged, first beating him with a stick and then stabbing him in the abdomen with a knife. Tobibar died at the scene.
The officer-in-charge (OC) of Kotchandpur Police Station confirmed the incident.
