Litton bags third duck, Bangladesh collapses

Bangladesh is staring at an innings defeat against Australia after losing six wickets for 68 runs in their second innings.

Litton Das returned to the pavilion for zero in the first innings of the Darwin Test. He did not bat in the second innings. In Mackay, he fell without scoring in both the first and second innings.

Litton ended the Test series in complete failure with three ducks. He headed back to the dressing room for zero after facing 10 balls in the second innings. He poked at Mitchell Starc's delivery slightly outside off-stump and offered a catch to Beau Webster in the slips.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz was dismissed shortly after. He nicked Pat Cummins' ball after scoring just 1 run.

Earlier, Bangladesh made a poor start to their second innings. The visitors lost three wickets for 39 runs before lunch.

Sadman Islam and Mominul Haque fell on consecutive deliveries during Starc's fiery spell. First-innings centurion Tanjid Hasan Tamim could not survive either, giving a catch off Cummins.

Najmul Hossain Shanto narrowly survived an early chance before trying to play with positive intent. However, his innings ultimately ended in disappointment.

Shanto stepped down the track to hit Nathan Lyon over long-off, but handed a catch to Starc. Bangladesh lost their fourth wicket as Najmul departed for 31 off 46 balls.

Australia earlier secured a 146-run lead after bowling out Bangladesh for 210 runs in their first innings.
