Palestine congratulates President Mirza Fakhrul

Palestine has warmly congratulated Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on assuming office as the 23rd President of Bangladesh.

The Palestinian Embassy in Dhaka conveyed the greetings in a message on Sunday, wishing the new President success in his responsibilities of serving the people of Bangladesh.

Palestine expressed hope that the longstanding ties of friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the two countries would be further strengthened.

It also reaffirmed its commitment to working with the new President to deepen bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Palestine.
