Santhia Press Club observes 46th founding anniversary

SANTHIA, PABNA, Aug 24: A rally, discussion meeting and cake cutting ceremony were held to observe the 46th founding anniversary of the Santhia Press Club. 

On this occasion, a colourful rally started from Santhia Press Club on Saturday morning and ended on the Press Club premises after parading through the main road of the municipal headquarters.

After the rally, Pabna-1 Constituency MP Barrister Dr Nazibur Rahman Momen addressed the discussion meeting as the chief guest while Press Club President Assistant Professor Abdul Hai chaired the event and General Secretary Faruk Hossain moderated it.

UNO Riju Tamanna, Upazila AC  (Land) Asif Raihan, Upazila Jamaat Ameer Mawlana Mokhlesur Rahman, Santhia Police Station OC (Investigation) Abdul Latif and Upazila Jamaat Secretary Assistant Professor Anisur Rahman spoke as special guests. Among the journalists who spoke were Joynul Abedin Rana, Ali Ahsan Manju, Manik Mia Rana, Mir Nazmul Bari Nahid, Ratan Das, etc.
