"Mohanagar 3" announced on Nipun's birthday

"Mohanagar 3" is finally coming out, according to the director Ashfaque Nipun who made the announcement on his birthday on Wednesday (August 26).

'Mohanagar' became one of the most influential web-series in Bangladesh and gained popularity even in India. The first season came out in 2021, followed by the second in 2023.

Season two ended with an unexpected turn which hinted at a third season. But there were three years of inactivity after this. According to some reports, the problem was budget constraints as a result of which Hoichoi Bangladesh decided not to continue the project.

Nipun announced on his birthday on Facebook with a video and said: "Okay, now let me just write the script because I don't have much time." After that, he sang the famous intro music of 'Mohanagar', which definitely means that a new season is going to be released soon.

Shooting and release dates for 'Mohanagar 3' haven't been disclosed yet.

Mosharraf Karim will join "Mohanagar 3" as OC Harun, and the West Bengal actor Anirban Bhattacharya is going to appear as a guest in the new season.
