Miladunnabi observed in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Aug 26: The holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi, commemorating the birth anniversary of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM), was observed in the port city like elsewhere in the country on Wednesday with deep religious reverence and solemnity.

The Anjuman-e Rahmaniya Ahmadiyya Sunnia Trust in Chattogram city celebrated the day with a grand “Jashne Julus” rally of Sunni Muslims in honour of Eid-e-Miladunnabi.
 
The colourful rally, led by Allama Pir Sayed Sabbir Shah (M.J.A) from Pakistan, commenced from the city’s Sholosohor Alamgir Khankha Sharif.

Sahibzada Syed Muhammad Qasim Shah (M.J.A.) and Shahzada Syed Muhammad Aqib Ahmed Shah (M.J.A.) were present in the procession.

Thousands of Muslim devotees from various parts of the country participated in the Jashne Julush. The city was adorned with elaborate decorations and there was a noticeable sense of excitement among the public in connection with the event.

Various organizations and interested people are distributing water, sherbet, dates, bananas, and biryani to the participants and passersby.

Later, they offered a special prayer seeking divine blessings of The Almighty Allah for peace, progress and prosperity of the country and welfare of the Muslim Ummah following a discussion.

The rally travelled through Muradpur, Nasirabad, GEC and Tiger Pass Mour in the city before concluding at the Jamia Ahmadia Sunnia Madrasa ground around 1pm.
