Fake DGFI officer held in city 

Police in the capital’s  Gulshan area have detained a man who allegedly posed as an assistant director of the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI).

The detainee was identified as Md Saif Imran, 37. Deputy Commissioner (Media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Md Akhtar Hossain confirmed the matter in a press release on Sunday.

Citing Gulshan Police Station (PS) sources, he said that Saif Imran parked a motorcycle beside the Pakistan High Commission in Gulshan at about 12:15pm on Saturday.
