Southeast University holds discussion session and Doa Mahfil to mark ‘Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) 2026

Southeast University (SEU) organized a discussion session and DoaMahfil to observe the holy ‘Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) 2026’ on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the University’s Multipurpose Hall.

Professor Dr. YusefMahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of Southeast University, presided over the session while eminent Islamic scholar, author, and researcher Shaykh Dr. Muhammad SaifullahMadani attended the event as the keynote speaker.

In his keynote address, Dr. Madani elaborated on various aspects of the noble life, character, and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), highlighting the vital importance of incorporating the Sunnah into daily life. He urged students to embrace moral education and draw inspiration from the Prophet’s (PBUH) ideals to transform themselves into honest, responsible, and exemplary citizens.

The opening remarks were delivered by Professor Dr. Abdul Kader Muhammad Masum, Convener of the Event Implementation Committee and Dean of the School of Engineering. Professor Dr. M. MofazzalHossain, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Southeast University, delivered a special address.

The program was attended by Deans of various faculties, Heads of Departments, faculty members, administrative officers, staff, and a large gathering of students.

The event concluded with a special Doa and Munajat, seeking divine blessings, peace, and overall prosperity for the country, the nation, and the university.
