ABG Foundation distributes rice in Manikganj

The Anvir Bashundhara Group (ABG) Foundation has distributed rice among people affected by river erosion in Daulatpur upazila of Manikganj.

More than 300 people received 25 kg of rice each at an event held at Chakharicharan Government Primary School on Wednesday afternoon. Shayla Kabir, wife of Manikganj-1 MP SA Jinnah Kabir, was the chief guest.

District Jubo Dal convener Kazi Mostak Hossain Dipu, joint convener Asif Iqbal Rony, district Swechhasebak Dal joint convener Kazi Nadim Hossain Tuel, Daulatpur upazila Jubo Dal member secretary Abdus Salam and former upazila Jubo Dal vice-president Lokman Hossain were also present.

The recipients expressed gratitude for the assistance.

Speaking at the event, Shayla Kabir said, “We have always stood by people in need and will continue to do so.”

She said the ABG Foundation’s humanitarian assistance was not limited to Manikganj and was being provided across the country.
