350 meritorious students felicitated in Laxmipur 

LAXMIPUR, Sept 8: Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir honoured around 350 students who secured GPA-5 in the SSC, Dakhil and equivalent examinations in Laxmipur on Tuesday.

The district unit of Chhatra Shibir organised the programme at a Chinese restaurant in the town around noon.

Sibgatullah Sibga, Central Secretary of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, attended the programme as the chief guest.

Arman Hossain, President of the district Shibir unit, chaired the programme, while its secretary Parvez Hossain moderated it.

Mushfiqur Rahman, Central Sports Secretary of Shibir; Master Ruhul Amin Bhuiyan, Ameer of Laxmipur District Jamaat-e-Islami; and Abdul Awal Hamdu, President of the town Shibir unit, were also present.

Speaking at the event, Sibgatullah said young Bangladeshis were contributing in different parts of the world but were not properly valued in the country.
